Get started
(Updated: )Features described in this article aren't available in CleanMyMac Basic.
To get started with tidying up your cloud storage—iCloud Drive, Google Drive, or OneDrive—you need to connect it to CleanMyMac.
For iCloud Drive and OneDrive, you can have only one connection of each in CleanMyMac at a time. For Google Drive, you can add as many cloud connections as needed, but this number is limited by the number of accounts you can sync simultaneously in the Google Drive app—see details.
For now, CleanMyMac lets you connect only the locally synced account, meaning that you first have to:
Make sure iCloud Drive is set up on your Mac.
After you've set up your cloud sync, follow these steps:
Open CleanMyMac and go to the Cloud Cleanup module.
Connect your cloud:
If you haven't added any cloud connections yet, click Connect iCloud, Connect Google Drive, or Connect OneDrive—whichever you need.
If you have at least one cloud connection added already, click Add Another Cloud and choose which other cloud to add.
Wait until CleanMyMac establishes connection with the cloud storage.
Great! Now you can scan and explore your cloud storage, and remove unnecessary files to keep it clean and tidy.
